THE TOOLKIT IS IN DEVELOPMENT!

I’m excited to announce that the “WPA Toolkit,” referenced as a goal from my dissertation study, is in its first stages of development in collaboration with an excellent student team from Purdue University’s Experience Studio. They’ll be iterating on the data I’ve already collected to understand potential WPA users of the Toolkit and then bringing in their design expertise to develop a prototype.

PLUS, I finally have a proper name for the Toolkit: “Staples, substitutions, and the kitchen sink: A toolkit for agile writing program administration.” It tries to work on multiple levels with the cooking and kitchen metaphors–more on that later.

I describe a bit more on what the Toolkit will involve on my newly-updated Research Agenda page.
